Model Train Track Possibilities

Images to Help You With Model Train Track Possibilities

Wanting to add some visual examples of model trains, model train track layouts and foreground/background detail, I visited the Napa Valley Model Railroad Club.  They were kind enough to allow me to take pictures and videos and post them here on my site.

These photos are not meant to imply that your layout should look like this.  Keep in mind, the Napa club’s layout is built within two World War II Quonset huts plus a two story 40′ x 40′ connector building.  Their layout occupies 3600 square feet in the ‘L’ shaped structure.  This is one of the largest layouts in the U.S.  While you are likely starting and doing so simply, my intent is to give you some additional ideas you may be able to reduce to your size and space.  It may also help you think ahead to what you might want to be doing with the layout once you get your basic structure in place.
